Rev. Gerrit Rientjes (1946-1949)

Rev. Rientjes was the first pastor to live in the present parsonage.
During his ministry more English services were introduced. Weekly bulletins, the second pipe organ was ordered and brouth in 1948. (Servicemen were returning from WWII, time of new hope.)
Rev. and Mrs. Reintjes are the parents of four children, Mary, Connie, Jon, and Marcia.
He accepted a call from Lynden, Washington in 1949.
