Rev. Henry Bovendam (1967-1973)

Rev. Henry Bovendam also came to Leota from the Sibley Reformed Chruch. 
Church services were held morning and evening the year round.
In 1967 the old basement was remodeled into Sunday School rooms. Cal Hayes crusade was held March 22-25, 1973.
Rev. and Mrs. Bovendam were the parents of three children, twins, Faith and Fay, and Steven.
Rev. Bovendam retired from the ministry in 1973 and moved to Orange City, Iowa. In 1982 Rev. and Mrs. Bovendam returned to Leota to live. They were members of Bethel Reformed. Ada passed away in 1984.
