Rev. Verlyn Boone (1984-1989)

Leota Bethel was Pastor Boone's first church.
During our vacancy we added an addition to the house. The addition consisted of an entry and utility room.
In 1989 eighteen adults went to Macy, Nebraska for a 3 day work project. Equipment, supplies, and food wre all furnished by our church. While there they painted and cleaned, tarred the driveway, tiled, carpentry, and worked in the used clothing store.
Pastor and Suzan Boone are the parents of two sons, Adam, and Andrew.
He accepted a call to the Reformed Church at Wellsburg Iowa.
