Rev. LeRoy Boender (1990-1996)

Rev. LeRoy Boender came to Leota as of May 1990. He is a native of Sheldon, Iowa. He received his B.A. degree from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa and his Masters of Divinity from Western Theological Seminary.
After his ordination at Bether Reformed at Sheldon, Iowa, he has served as the associate pastor of the Hamilton Reformed Church in Hamilton, Michigan. Rhea Boender is the daughter of Rev. William and Sally Osborne of Lansing, Michigan. She graduated from Hamilton High School and Spring Arbor College with a degree in Elementary Education and Music.
Rev. and Mrs. Boender were married on June 18, 1988 and are the parents of Bretton William and Shalee.
Pastor Boender left for Wisconsin in 1996.
